How did pacifists react to the Great War?
Pacifists are the people who don’t think violence is the answer. Some people thought it was not Australia’s war to fight. They also believed there was an economic advantage to stay home because they needed the money to be able to live comfortably. Poor health and family responsibilities were just some excuses men used so they didn’t have to go to war (Geraldine Carrodus, 2012).
